About Melanie

Grace. Faith. Peace. Melanie L. Houston endeavors to live life with these words in mind. With a testimony of the faithfulness of God, she established Alabaster Box Media Group, a boutique Christian multimedia publishing group, in 2013. Melanie’s passion is to marry art and literature while speaking to contemporary spiritual and social issues. In her latest release, My Afrikah Hair, she extends her voice, reach and audience with the art of Bahamian native Philece Roberts. To give back and make an impact, Melanie fuses her writing and consulting experience to develop and manage grant writing processes for several nonprofit organizations.
